Masterpieces from the Museum of Fine Arts and Archaeology

The Museum of Fine Arts and Archeology of Besançon presents a selection of masterpieces from the collection of fine art and archaeological objects. This new exhibition is a presentation of the interim collections before complete closure of the museum from 2014 to 2016, for renovation and museum.
Presented in four sections, the first consisting of paintings and sculptures from the fourteenth to the twentieth century, second and third respectively called « square drawings » and « exhibitions folders » and the last devoted to archeology, « Anthology » reveals iconic museum collections and works for some newly restored and unknown to the public.
